Before long, Charlotte hooked up with Henrik in New York. Both got drawn back to each other during the subsequent year.
A friend of Henrik’s from Denmark sent him some samples of his company gift watches, asking if there was a conceivable market for them in the United States. Using the samples as a starting point, they added their own fashionable touches, creating a very stylish end product. Surprisingly to them, corporate buyers were in love with their designs, and suggested that they make a brand name for themselves instead of only supplying to corporations.
