Briel Men’s Chronagraph,
My Briel chronagraph watch gets good comments & reactions where ever I go. It looks like a more expensive model.
It has been used as an every day watch, it has sturdy features and looks well on those special occasions!
Clean lines, very easy to read at a quick glance, the rubber strap is so comfortable to wear I sometimes don’t even realise it’s on!

5 Stars, but, item not as described by Amazon,
First off, there is no doubt that this watch, the “Breil TW0659 Mens Chronograph Watch with Rubber Strap” is an outstanding time piece, and, at it’s current price on Amazon, an absolute bargain, particularly when, a quick search of the web reveals prices up to £275.00.
Now, as to the title of this review ….”5 Stars, but, item not as described by Amazon” Amazons product description is fairly accurate and backed by the photo sets your expectations. This isn’t altered upon receipt, apart from the fact that the watch face isn’t black – It’s a smoky silvery grey.
Amazon, you really do need reflective accurate photo’s and a description
It could be that Amazon have run out of inventory and have, on initiative, supplied a ‘replacement’, if so, that should be stated upon the packing receipt. Now, I could simply return the watch as ‘not as described’ but, in all honesty, it’s a really nice watch with a comfortable, ‘solid’ and quality build inspiring confidence that it will cope with the rigours of lives ups and downs.
All in all, a quality buy from Amazon, just remember, dial wise, the face isn’t black ….

I am really glad I got this watch, I have not worn one for a very long time because I started using my mobile, instead of a watch for the time!….
My first Impressions were that the watch looks a lot different compared to my old one’s and better!.
Firstly the whole face of the watch looks really smart,(It’s a black/grey colour), it goes well with the brushed finish of the frame(if that’s watch its called?) The black screws really set it off, along with with black strap.
Having the rubber strap feels much more comfortable compared to the stainless ones and saves a lot of weight, which is a plus because one of the reasons I stopped wearing one was because it was quite heavy and I always knew it was on my wrist, slowing me down at work!!! But with this watch I can forget I’m wearing it because of it’s lightness.(It still has that quality feel to it, and doesn’t look or feel cheap at all)…
The buttons and the crown all work fine and are easy to use/set up once you have read the instruction booklet.
Also the buttons are no harder to press than any other watch, it will “click” once,,then you press the other button and when that “clicks” it resets the button you first pressed.(I don’t think someone had a faulty one, but its possible, anything is).
Also….I don’t think the glass is more reflective than any other watch glass,,it has a slight convex, which will make it seem more reflective.
I bought this for my dad but liked it so much I kept it..(sorry pa! I’ll get you something else)!!!
