too much packaging! watch is fine,
The watch itself is fine, exactly as shown. The leather is fairly stiff and the watch would not fit someone with chunkier wrists! The only disappointing thing about the watch itself if the face of the watch, which is a metallic orange and cheapens the look of the watch – it’s not bad enough to return, but I would only wear this on very casual occasions.
Now, to the rant – the watch weighs 43g: the packaging weighed 411g! The watch was very well protected in a branded oval tin, lined with foam (tine could have been much smaller to avoid waste Timex). this then had a thin cardboard sleeve and then a sturdy box around this – this would have been fine to send in the post, but NO, Amazon, then put this box into an Amazon box 4 times the size of the smaller box and as this was way too big padded this box out with scrunched up paper – way too much guys!! Reduce your packaging – please!
