   I bought this as a christmas present for a friend of mine. He loves old fasioned items and had always wanted a pocket watch and so I thought this would be great. I was looking for one that is not too expensive, which this is not and i needed something that had a very victorian feel to it. This ticked all my boxes. I had read a previous review regarding how to set the time and i myself had this problem but after some time trying to figure it out i realised you need to pull the lever up and twist to change it. I hope that helps other peoples problems but all in all a very good item. I hope he will like it. Also it has a very handy spare battery inside which is a great extra.

   Let there be no mistake: I love this watch very much. As a perfectionist, though, I was tempted to deduct a star from the perfect score because of two small details, but since they’re really only annoying to perfectionists, I think it’d be unfair for them to affect the score that much.

   Firstly, the minute hand might jump a little when clicking the watch-adjuster back into place, something which is annoying if you want it to be very accurate. Secondly, the watch is just a bit too fast, gaining a few seconds every day so that you have to readjust it every now and then. It’s battery-driven, so there’s no speed-adjuster in the back like there is on wind-up watches.

   Aside from these nitpicky details, it’s a great watch.
