watch and internet purchase,
Purchased via Amazon – fast and efficient and linked company that sold watch willingly sent a replacement for the first one which had a fault with compass function. The second watch is working, but hope compass continues to work.
Watch has many features and which is why it was selected and especially for it tide predictions. Drawback of the watch is it is a bulky and buttons stick out – which for ‘adventure-type’ activities is a problem as they may get caught and damaged. It is too heavy to wear for running. The rubber strap is flexible and has a tendency to work loose. Temperature sensor is on the back of the watch so only measures temperature when not on wrist.
The watch looks as smart as the photograph available on web.

timex expedition watch,
if you are looking at getting this watch have a look on youtube there is a video on there that gives a good look over.thats what i did.
as far as all the functions go the watch its great.
the strap is really comfy too.
if i was to make a bad point on this watch it would be the indiglow but if your out an about of a night then you would have a torch with you anyways so no biggy.
dam good watch well pleased with it

Gents Timex Expedition watch,
Thought long and hard before I bought this watch. Loved the appearance and chunkyness of it – I’m 6’5″- and I dont find it heavy as some reviewers have complained of.So when I saw the price had come down, I snapped it up. Have not regreted my purchase. Keeps time – seems to point me in the right direction compass wise and as for the tide function – I’m to far inland not to worry about it, but have no reason to believe that it will not be useful to those who need it.Would not hesitate in recommending it to others,
