As one of the most popular camera manufacturers in the world, Canon seems understand that customers always want more. Last year, they launched EOS Rebel T1i to the market. With its competitor, D500 from Nikon, the T1i became the first DSLR camera under $1.000 offers high definition video feature. The T1i capture is limited to 720p but it has capability to produce broadcast-quality videos. Now, Canon launches EOS Rebel T2i. This product is the update version of the T1i. According to Canon, the T2i is the only DSLR camera under $1.000 that can bring 1080p30, 1080p24 and 720p60 high definition video. The Canon EOS Rebel T2i received many compliments from reviewers because of the ability and price even the physical appearance is not too different with the T1i. Another fact surrounds this camera is that this product brings some features available on the EOS 7D, one of it is the 18-megapixel sensor. However, even the sensor is similar but the T2i is not as fast as the 7D. The EOS Rebel T2i brings the update version of T1i’s frame and resolution. To make it more reliable, Canon makes it compatible with almost all types of memory cards. Users can put SD, SDHC or even SDXC card there. This is the first camera from Canon that can receive and read SDXC. With new eye-Fi status screen, users can improve their awareness to the cards they used inside the slot. The movie mode on the T2i is much better than the T1i because it covers 1080p video recording at 24, 25 and 30 fps.
This Canon T2i Review also found that there is one unusual feature can be found on this Canon EOS T2i is the single autofocus operation; it can be activated even when the camera is used for recording videos. To maximize its performance, Canon also puts some manual video exposures there. If there are no proprietary cables when it is brought for travelling abroad, users do not have to confuse because this camera has been equipped with mini HDMI port and mini USB port.
