Sunglasses (and glasses of all types) are becoming more and more an essential fashion accessory, as they can portray a huge amout about you as a person.
UK fashion this summer seems heavily reliant on colours, and how your outfit matches your accessories. One particular colour trend would be vintage, or anything that can be described as, or made to look vintage.
With that in mind, here are some top tips to making sure your sunglasses fit your outfit, and look on trend for the summer months.
Matching Accessories:
See if you can effectively match your bag and/or your shoes with your sunglasses, get yourself some nice designer sunglasses. If youve got the money (important for this one!) and you want to look ultra-stylish this summer, get yourself a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes and matching sunglasses (yes they make sunglasses now) in a retro or vintage colour for a real on trend summer look.
Go for vintage sunglasses:
Vintage really is the way to go this year and if you can get yourself some vintage sunglasses to match a vintage outfit youll be well on your way to looking in-style this summer. You could try the cats eye style sunglasses for a great on-trend look; the retro-inspired look ticking all the right fashion boxes.
Go for rectangular frames
The rectangular frame is right back in fashion, particularly after this look was pulled off so well in US TV series Mad Men.. Some prominent celebrity followers of this trend include Alyssa Milano and Justin Timberlake.
Aviator sunglasses:
Aviator sunglasses are bang in style this summer, along with beautifully designed Ray Ban Wayfarer which will be a definite favourite for summer 2010 – look out for the oversized versions by Ray Ban for a particularly cool example.
